At our Oct 28 meeting, we welcomed the passionate members of the University of Niagara Falls Rotaract Club — young leaders driving real change in our community!
Their Polio Fund Drive raised vital support for the #EndPolioNow campaign, and our Rotary Club proudly matched their funds to double the difference. 🙌
We also shared a beautiful exchange of Rotary flags — one from Turkey 🇹🇷 and one from Niagara Falls 🇨🇦 — a symbol of connection, friendship, and shared purpose.
At our October 28th meeting, we had the pleasure of hosting members from the Rotaract Club of the University of Niagara Falls (UNF) — a vibrant and passionate team of young leaders making an inspiring impact in our community.
Rotaract President Laden, President-Elect Ceren, and members Vernique and Chibuzor shared an engaging update on their club’s development, upcoming service projects, and their recent Polio Fund fundraising campaign held on the UNF campus earlier in October.
Their dedication to Rotary’s mission to End Polio Now deeply impressed our members — and in recognition of their efforts, the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls proudly matched the funds raised by the Rotaract team during their October Polio Fund drive. Together, our shared contributions will go even further in supporting the global fight against polio.
A special moment of Rotary connection came when Laden presented a Rotary flag from her father’s club in Turkey, symbolizing the international bonds of service and fellowship that unite Rotarians and Rotaractors around the world. In return, we presented the Turkey Rotary club through UNF Rotaract Club with our own club flag — a gesture celebrating our growing partnership and shared vision for change.
The UNF Rotaract Club embodies the energy, leadership, and compassion that drive the Rotary movement forward. We look forward to supporting their continued journey and collaborating on future initiatives that make lasting impact both locally and globally.
